30 Miles in 30 Days

It is officially less than two months until I am the matron of honor in my cousin's wedding. I was doing pretty good with working out, but these last couple weeks I have been slacking. I want to feel good in my dress for the wedding, but more importantly, I just want to take better care of myself. My kids (especially Kyla) watch everything I do so when I am exercising regularly, she notices. She loves to come downstairs while I'm on the treadmill and do some exercises too. I just want to be a good role model and have our family live an active lifestyle.

With all that being said, I was in need of a little motivation to get back on track. So I asked my friend Erin if she'd want to do something together and thankfully, she was all in! I think she even talked Kayla into joining us (no pressure, Kayla)! :)

We decided on 30 miles in 30 days in the month of April and we would LOVE for you to join us!


Most of my miles will likely come on the treadmill with a combination of walking and running, but you can get them however you want - walking, running, biking, swimming. It all counts!

If you don't have a blog, share on your social media and tag one of us (all my social media links are over on the right side of my blog ). It will be great motivation to see how everyone is doing. I am sure I will have days where the last thing I want to do is workout, but seeing other people getting after it will definitely help. The nice thing about this too is that if you know you can't get miles in one day, you can do a few extra another day. It doesn't need to be a mile a day. Just 30 miles for the month.
