$10 at Target (May)

I saw Elizabeth's $10 at Target post last month and thought it would be fun to join in.  If it has to do with Target, it's right up my alley!  I go on a weekly basis (at least) and most times I take my sweet time looking at all kinds of things I don't need.  I usually end up just getting necessities or stuff for the kids so it was nice to force myself to look for something just for me.

I knew I wanted some chocolate and normally I'd buy something small and cheap, but this was about treating myself.  So Ghirardelli it was!  I went back and forth a few times, but decided some new Sharpie pens were needed.  I use these a ton on my planner stickers (they're my favorite on glossy stickers), plus Kyla likes to use them once in awhile too.

Chocolates - $4.49
Sharpie pens - $4.99

I was really proud of myself because with my 5.5% sales tax, I knew my total was exactly $10.  But when I got to the checkout, I realized I had forgotten about my 5% red card discount.  So my total was $9.51.  I looked around to see if I could find something for 50 cents, but didn't see anything and there were people in line behind me.  If I go over a little next month I guess I'll call it even. :)

I loved this little link-up and it made my Sunday night bath much sweeter!

Head on over and see what some of these other awesome ladies bought with their $10!

If you want to join in next month, we'll be sharing our hauls on Monday, June 20th!
