I just realized the last post I wrote was about Kyla being sick.  I'm happy to report that she is feeling much better and Kase (knock on wood) never got it!  We were able to go up to Tyler's cousin's wedding on Saturday as planned.  We went up and back in one day so it was a lot of time in the van (6 hours total), but it was nice to be home Saturday night.

Sunday I took Kyla to her first parade.  My hometown has a little festival so my mom and I took her to it.  We got rained on, but she loved it.  She did this for almost everything that went by...

Here are a few other cute pictures...

I worked all day yesterday and a half day today.  It's going well!  It's always a little stressful starting a new job and not knowing what you're doing.  But I'm feeling more comfortable with everything after these two days.

I did a boot camp class tonight, which felt awesome to get such a great workout in.  But I almost threw up at the end.  It was a tough class!  The warm up was a 1 1/2 mile run.  I knew I was in for it when they said that was just the warm up.  But it feels good now that it's over.  Tyler said he can't believe I pay for that torture, haha.

I'm contemplating trying the whole potty training thing tomorrow.  Don't hold me to it though.  I might wake up and have lost the motivation.  I have the rest of the week off and we're not going anywhere this weekend so I feel like it would be a good time to just hunker down and do it.  We'll see.

I am so behind on reading my favorite blogs.  I need to catch up with you all!  I have been so busy working my Thirty-One business and everything else, but I am looking forward to sitting my butt on the couch, watching my two DVR'd shows (Kardashians and Bachelorette) while reading about what my favorite mama's are up to.

Time to go give this cute little mama's girl a bath!

  1. It's just not fair how gorgeous Kyla's hair is! Looks like you guys had a great weekend. I've been avoiding the potty training too, even though Morgan now tells me when she's pooping/pooped. I just don't want to waste our time in frustration if she's not truly ready though. But then again, changing only 1 kid's diaper every day IS awfully tempting...

  2. I love parades! I wish we had more of them here but I think its more of a small town thing. Did I miss you starting a new job?! Deets girl!!
