Kase's Baptism

This is my first blog post on our new laptop.  I finally decided to give it a try.  And although it's very nice, it's driving me crazy.  It's a little too fancy for me.  But I guess I will get used to it.

Sunday we had Kase baptized.  It was such a great day.  He was (of course) a perfect little man during church, we had so many of our loving family with us and the weather was beautiful.  The girls even got to play outside for awhile.  It felt like Spring!  Although I like some snow, I'll take this!

Kyla stayed back at my mom's with my aunt and uncle because there is no way she would have made it through church.  I did not want to worry about a screaming toddler that day.  She did much better at Grandma's!

I apologize if you already saw all of these on Facebook the other night :)

Kase's Godparents are my brother Matt and his wife Amber

Kase's cousins, Emma and Gianna, got to help Reverend Hakes pour the water.

Kase started laughing when he got the water put on his head :)

He smiled the entire time.  Apparently he's not scared of men like his big sister :)

He's a lucky boy to have such a great God family :)

Our best attempt at a picture with Kyla in it too.

She sure does love her cousins!

Grandma Karen and Grandpa Brian with their first grandson

First grandson for Grandma Cheryl too!  Hopefully Kyla and Kase will get some Kattre cousins soon ;)

My aunt Sharon and Uncle Mike with Kase

Uncle Trevor and Aunt Jackie

Aunt Katie and Uncle Tanner (come on Uncle Tan, you could have put your arm around them or something)  :)

Grandpa Todd (my dad)

So happy in Grandpa's arms

I wanted my dad to have a picture with all his grand babies.  Not exactly what I envisioned :)  Gianna sits and smiles so nicely and Emma tries so hard to get Kyla to cooperate.

Haha, he looks so huge in Emma's arms!

My little family minus one redhead who was too busy running around.

Got her!  I am a lucky lady!

I think he's going to be a Mama's boy :)

The beautiful cake my mom ordered

Kase watching the Packers with Uncle Matt

Aunt Sharon's turn for some snuggle time

Isn't he so stinking cute with his little outfit on?  It's hard to see his bow tie under his chubby chin :)
Thank you to everyone who shared Kase's special day with us.  Some of you had a long drive to be there and it means the world to us!  Kase will be able to look back at all of these pictures and know just how lucky he is.  And thank you to my mom and Brian for letting us have everyone up to their house for lunch.  I love you all so much!
