Pumpkin Patch 2012

Tyler and I took Kyla to the pumpkin patch on Sunday.  Kase stayed home with my mom and watched the Packers lose.  We had a great time and as usual, I have lots of pictures to share so let's get to it.
Don't act so excited bud!
Ready to go, Mom!

We parked right by the horses so we had to check them out first.  The sun was a little bright in her eyes :)

The tractors were by far her favorite part!

Hanging out in the teepee

They had some little houses with toys in them.  She didn't want to leave this one.

Daddy scaring her

Another little house had kittens and bunnies.

Sticking her face right down there...the kitty wasn't too thrilled.

In her glory!

On the way up to the hayride!

On the hayride out to the pumpkin fields (she had to have the cracker in her hand, but didn't take one bite).

"I want this one, Mom!"

She picked out a perfect one!  It was so funny seeing her try to lift it too.  Of course she couldn't let go of the cracker!

My horrible attempt at a self portrait

What an amazing view (my horrible camera doesn't do it justice at all)

Kase had enough of the Packer game so he took a snooze on Grandma.

Tyler and I had to pay $2 each and that $4 was definitely money well spent.  I'm already excited to take her back next year.  Don't worry Kase, we'll take you too buddy!

Thank you to everyone who entered my giveaway!  The winner is...

RACHEL GRAY!  Congratulations, Rachel!  I will email you today!

  1. Cute pictures! That's quite a deal, I think our pumpkin patch is like $10 a person or something crazy. They make a killing lol. Lee never lets us get pumpkins there though because they are pricey where we go...we *look* at the pumpkins and take pics, and then buy pumpkins at Walmart!

    Poor Kase ;-)

    1. I was afraid the pumpkins were going to be expensive too. We got all 5 that were in the wagon with Kyla for $13. I didn't think that was too bad, but I'm not sure how that compares to Wal Mart. We only got two from the fields because we didn't want to carry them all back on the hay ride so we got the other ones at the house where you check out. It was a blast!

  3. What a great trip! I love all your pictures! I think I thought of a comment for each one as I was reading your post! First, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your hair, and can I say you look so good after just having a baby! And, that picture of Tyler and Kyla walking hand-in-hand is precious! I also love the one of your mom holding Kase. I love the way he is holding his little hand. :)
