Fall weather means...

New clothes of course!

High of 60 degrees here today!  I am so ready for Fall.  I love the 60's!  You can usually find me in yoga pants and a sweatshirt.  I do love sweaters, skinny jeans and boots too though.  I'm hoping I'll actually be able to fit into my skinny jeans soon!  I have a $100 gift card to Maurices to use up, but I don't really want to buy anything yet until I lose some more weight.

I started going through Kyla's closet and packing away summer stuff and pulling out the fall/winter stuff.  She will still fit into quite a bit from last winter, but a girl needs a few new things too, right?  ;)

But before I show you all the new clothes I bought, I have a confession to make.  If you think I have my act together so much that I can blog every day, then I have you fooled :)  I usually type up my posts when Kyla is sleeping and I'm holding Kase, trying to get him to sleep (often typing with one hand).  Or when they're both sleeping and I can't sleep.  I usually type up more than one post at a time, sometimes several days in advance.  And then in the morning I can just post them.  I love to just sit and blog.  It's seriously like therapy.  And I don't even always post everything I type up.  It's just a way to get things off my chest.  Although I'd love to be super mom, I don't have a good enough routine down yet to incorporate regular blogging into my daily schedule.  Maybe someday :)

So anyway, about my shopping addiction.  Usually I hate shopping, but I have come to love shopping for my kids.  There is a new Carter's store near us so I decided to go check it out last weekend.  I had also planned to go to Old Navy and Target.  But somehow I spent all my time at Carter's.  We're talking an hour and a half here people.  I just couldn't get enough.  Plus I went back this past Sunday to exchange a pair of pants and ended up buying some more stuff.  But I had coupons from the previous weekend including $20 off anything.  Everything in the store was 50-70% off.  Now I realize that their stuff is a little pricey to begin with and I would never pay full price for any of it.  But how could I turn down these deals?

Sweat suit that I can't wait to get her in!

70% off shirts and both of these will look cute under the sweat suit above or with jeans.

Fuzzy pj's

I got most of the stuff in 3T because I'm hoping it will fit her through the winter into spring.  She could easily wear 3T shirts now, but the pants are long.  But since I got mostly leggings, I can scrunch them up if I need to.

This will be for spring for sure...although I wonder if a long sleeve white shirt would look ok under it?

I also bought Kase a few things.  We needed to get him a winter suit so I used my $20 I had from last weekend and got it free (with a few bucks to spare) :)

He's going to be a little giraffe for Halloween.  It was on clearance and since he won't even be sitting up for Halloween, I didn't want to pay much.  But he needs a costume for pictures at least :)  It has a cute tail in the back too.

I can't turn down the pants with cute stuff on the butt :)

The World's Cutest Little Brother.  And the socks were buy one pack get a pack free.

1st Christmas pj's

Onesie from the clearance rack

Obviously this didn't come from Carter's, but I had to share.  My blogger friend,  Shawna made this onesie for him.  Hunting season is coming up for Daddy so his little hunting buddy will be dressed for the occasion!

Don't worry, Kyla has her camo ready too :) (Also made by Shawna)

I really need to be done shopping for the kids for awhile.  I think Tyler about had a heart attack when I walked in with a huge bag of clothes.  I still have a huge tote downstairs of Gianna's 3T stuff to go through for Kyla.  Kase had plenty of clothes between me, his two grandma's and what we got from Tyler's cousin.  And I know my mom has some new stuff for them too that she'll be bringing over this week!  We better find places to go so I'm not the only one enjoying all this cuteness :)

  1. Love it all! That pink/gray/green flower tunic and leggings makes me so mad---I wanted that tunic SO MUCH but my Carters was sold out of Rayas size, and Brielle is too small for that section. So bummed! So you must post pics of Kyla in it ;-)

I also love love love that pink sweatshirt outfit with the big green cute!

Love the pants you found to go with Kase's camo shirt :-)

    1. Shawna, I LOVE that buck shirt you made Kase! I may need you to make one for LB! :)

    2. haha...Briana I told Amy a long time ago I was going to surprise you with one too, but I haven't gotten to it yet! ;-)

  2. As I started reading your post, I was thinking, wow, you are so organized & you are! Switching out clothes and doing great with the kids. I hope to get there. Yesterday was our first day alone, and I didn't get any sleep last night because LB has a cold and it affected how he was breathing. :(

I LOVE the hunting outfit for Kase! And I love all the clothes you got Kyla, but I had so much fun looking at the boy clothes you chose! :)

And, I can't wait to get this baby weight off either. My birthday is Sunday, and Joe just asked me what I wanted. I told him Wii fit, and then once we find and buy our next house I am hoping to get an elliptical again.

  3. Loving all the cute clothes, especially the pink/grey/green outfit. I need to make a visit to our Carter's. I love when there stuff is on sale and I have a coupon, thats usually the only way I shop there.

I agree Kase's shirt from Shawna with those pants are adorable! If Kase is going as a giraffe, what is Kyla going to be for Halloween?

  4. We LOVED our winter snowsuit like the one you bought for Kase---it was our life saver! Carters can suck you in---totally know the feeling:)

  5. Oh my GOSH! How stinkin' cute are allllllll those outfits?! You make me want babies NOW, haha! I love the giraffe costume!!

  6. Hey would you mind letting me know which web host you're working with? I've loaded your
blog in 3 completely different internet browsers and I must say this blog loads a lot
faster then most. Can you recommend a good internet hosting provider at a honest price?
    Kudos, I appreciate it!
