I love you Kyla Pearl!

Remember this list?  I pulled it up again today to see what we've already done and I was surprised to see we've done 5 of the 20!  Although we'll have more picnics, play with sidewalk chalk again, etc., it's fun to look at it and see the fun things that we've been up to.

1.  Go to the zoo
2.   Go on lots of walks to the park
3.   Go swimming this summer
4.   Go to the children’s museum
5.   Go to the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago
6.   Paint with homemade finger paints
7.  Have an Easter egg hunt
8.   Go on a picnic
9.    Have lots of play dates with her cousins
10.   Bake treats together
11.   Draw with sidewalk chalk
12.   Plant flowers together
13.   Take some family pictures
14.   Go to a parade
15.   Watch fireworks
16.   Go play at the Bennett farm
17.  Start going to the library once a week
18.   Go to Uncle Trevor's baseball games
19.  Make some crafts/pictures for Daddy's office
20.  Play in the backyard

I think the next list I need to make is things I need to accomplish around the house.  There are so many things I want to do.  For example, I really need to get my Tot School and Thirty-One stuff organized.  It's currently all thrown into our third bedroom and it's really stressing me out.  That's another soon as we find out the sex of the baby, I want to get it painted and decorated.  And then of course there's all the cleaning to be done.  And my poor husband is ironing a huge stack of his work clothes that I let pile up.  Why do I hate ironing so bad?  Anyone with me?  I feel really bad about it.  I did offer to finish it and he said no.  I think I'm a pretty good mom and wife, but I need to be a better "housewife".  I did do four loads of laundry today so I'm not all that bad, right?  ;)

I have to share this picture from Tot School yesterday.  A little background information first:  she had been coloring and playing with the crayons for a long time and it was time to go upstairs for lunch so I put the crayons up on top of this organizer.  She got really mad that she couldn't reach them.  So I was cleaning up the other area downstairs and I look over and this is what I see...

She pulled the drawer that had a huge stack of paper in it out of the organizer and stood on the paper so she could reach the crayons.  I could not believe my eyes.  How did this girl get so smart?  And then I said "Are you ready to go upstairs?" and off she went...

Oh I love her so much!

Anyway, that's all I have for tonight.  Here are a few pictures from dinner at Culver's tonight...

She loves eating out!  And she's a very good girl for the most part!

She got a hold of a whole chicken tender.
And she thought she was pretty cool sitting on the counter tonight before her bath...

And right after this she got greedy and stood up and tried to walk around.  She has been so snugly this week.  All day she was coming up to me hugging me or putting her head on my lap.  I am cherishing every moment because I know the day is coming where I wish she would snuggle with Mama and she will think I'm crazy!

And I have no clue what's going on with the formatting and tabs in this post, but I got fed up trying to fix it so sorry about that!

  1. You'll be able to cross off The Shedd Aquarium in Chicago this June.

  2. Amy, she is SO smart! I can't believe she came up with that!!!

Seeing that organizer again makes me want one even more! I have had my eyes on that for over a year, but I can't justify the cost yet. I am hoping to find a good deal like you did.

  3. Gotta love that girl!!!!

  4. Smarty pants!

And I don't iron at all! lol...I do buy my husband bottles of wrinkle releaser though :-P He can spray away!

You're list is very fun--we are actually planning to take the girls to the Omaha zoo later next month I think....I can't wait! Raya loved the zoo last year, but I know she'll love it even more this year. And Brielle will have fun pointing at everything hehe
