Quick Kyla updates

1.  Kyla can now get up the stairs!  She had never even attempted it before her birthday party and all of a sudden she started crawling right up like it was no problem at all.  We haven't attempted the going down part yet.

2.  She is SOOO close to walking!  She is walking the length of the living room now.  She still falls quite a bit, but is doing so awesome.

3.  She had her first fever ever tonight!  She's never had a fever with teething so I don't think that's it.  We gave her some Tylenol and it went down to 100.6 before she went to bed.  Of course I am a worry wart.  She's my first baby and it's her first fever!  I knew something was up because all she wanted to do all day was lay on my chest.  She slept on my chest on the couch for a good half hour and then I'd be sitting on the floor with her and she'd crawl up on my lap and lay her head on my chest.  Although I love that feeling, I knew she wasn't feeling well.  And she took a four hour nap today!  Hopefully tomorrow she will be back to her spunky self!

That's about all I have for tonight.  Nothing else too exciting going on.  Check out my Thirty-One Facebook group page:  http://www.facebook.com/groups/291258947568300/.  I will be doing a giveaway soon!

Hope you're all having a great week.  It's going to be freezing here the next couple of days so we're going to stay inside and snuggle!

  1. Hope she feels better quick!
My two cents about steps: teacher her to sit on her butt and scoot down, she won't fall that way.

  2. Those dang stairs! haha. I haven't taught Brielle to go down them yet either.

Are you guys supposed to get a bunch of snow soon too? I just heard we're supposed to get some nasty weather Thursday/Friday so we'll probably be doing a lot of cuddling too!

  3. It must be an after I turn 1 I can do anything. Cause Keira never tried to climb our stairs & now that she's one she climbs them anytime I forget to put the gate up.

I hope Kyla feels better soon, it's no fun when their sick

  4. Poor baby. I hope she is feeling better in the morning.

And I'm with doodlebugmom. Teach her to go down the stairs on her butt. Less scary (and dangerous) for both babe & mom!
