Momma went shopping!

I'm making this one short tonight because I have a million things on my to-do list.

First of all, I want to thank all of you that leave comments on here.  I love reading every single one.  To respond to a couple of comments from yesterday's birthday posts...Katie, I did actually think about writing 10 months old in the snow, but it wasn't sticking to the ground.  I will do that in the next few months though :)  And Shawna, Tyler had that look on his face because it was about the 15th picture of the two of them.  And that was the best I got, haha.  Thank you all for your kind words!  I really appreciate it!

I went shopping tonight by myself and it was AMAZING!  I didn't really buy anything special, but just the fact that I could take my time was so nice.  I splurged and bought myself two new shirts at Maurices.  Now I (hopefully) won't try on my entire closet, throw everything I don't like on the bed and end up complaining that I have no clothes when I'm getting ready for a Thirty-One party.  I don't shop for myself very often, but I got my first paycheck from Thirty-One today and it made me feel really good and I rewarded myself.  I always ask for Tyler's fashion advice and he approved on both shirts and he was proud of me for doing something for myself.

I also went to Target and took my sweet time looking at things that I had no intention of buying.  And I loved every second of it.  Of course I always miss Kyla when I'm not with her, but I also need my alone time.  And I knew she was home with Daddy having fun!  I did actually get what I went for, which was a baby shower gift for my friend.

I am thankful for Thirty-One and what it has already done for me in just over a month.  Like I said, I got my first commission check today.  But beyond the money (which is really nice of course), it has made me a better mom and wife.  It allows me to get out of the house once a week (usually).  This time away from home doing something I love truly makes me a better person.  It gets me excited about something.  It allows me to meet new people.  But most of all, it makes me happy.  And I could never do it without Tyler's support.  He has had my back from the day I told him I wanted to sign up.  He helps me with little things like putting my folders together and stamping my mini catalogs.  But more importantly, he gives Kyla baths, plays with her and puts her to bed while I need to work.  He has been awesome and I am so thankful for his support.
