Happy 100 to me!

This is my 100th post!  Exciting stuff!  I apologize if this post is a little "off" though.  I've been staining doors for the basement and the fumes have made me a little crazy.  Tyler was down there longer and said he was a little woozy too.  We will have doors and trim after this weekend though!  And we ordered the carpet tonight.  It won't be here for at least 3 weeks, but it's still exciting!

Anyway, back to this milestone!  It seems like just yesterday I started this little blog.  I still don't really feel like I know what I'm doing.  But I can honestly say that it has changed me.  For the better.  There are days once in awhile where I don't feel like writing anything.  I usually do anyway because I have people asking me where my post is and they are disappointed when there isn't one.  Haha.  But for the most part, I look forward to sitting down and sharing our day and pictures of Kyla.  I've said it before, but it's very therapeutic for me.  Being a stay at home mom is awesome, but it can be hard to only talk to a baby all day.  This blog has helped me "meet" other moms around the country and allows me to express myself.

I thought it would be fun to look back and see which posts out of my first 100 were the most popular.  Here are the top five viewed posts:

1.  Here we go... (My very first post)

I'm happy to say that Tyler's Mr. Mommy post came in 7th in total views.  Happy because at the time, I couldn't believe how many of you read it!  It was a little bit of an ego killer!  And I guess you guys like giveaways, huh?  Hmm, maybe I'll have just have to do another one soon.

I've seen this "What if" survey on a couple of my favorite blogs so I figured I'd add that to my 100th post just for the heck of it.

If I were to get pregnant again...I would be SO happy and feel extremely blessed!

If I could have any job in the world...I would be doing exactly what I'm doing now.  I was meant to be a stay at home mom!  When our kids are in school, I plan on teaching again.  That is my perfect plan and I hope it works out that way!
If I had a day to myself...I would get a professional massage and go Christmas shopping.
If I could get married all over again...I loved our wedding day.  It was perfect.  I would have a different DJ though.  They were extremely annoying.  I wouldn't go back and change our wedding day, but I'd love to have a destination wedding.  I'm hoping we can renew our vows some day in a tropical location.

If I could live anywhere in the US...I'm happy where we are as far as in the United States.  However, I would like a bigger house, closer to Madison, but out in the country a little bit so we can have a huge yard and complete peace.

If my girl would have been a boy they would have been named...I can't tell you that.  Sorry!  It's still our favorite boys name and we're hoping to use it some day :)
If I could have any talent in the world...I would LOVE to learn how to sew and be able to be creative enough to make Kyla some adorable clothes.  I still want to get a sewing machine and try to teach myself.  I just haven't convinced myself (or my hubby) that I should spend the money on one yet.  Plus now that I have my Thirty-One business, I don't have a lot of extra time in my day.  I also wish I could sing!

If you met me in real life...A lot of you already have and if you haven't, well, you've seen pictures and I pretty much post everything on our life so you wouldn't be too surprised.

If I could go back to school and get a different degree..I'd definitely get my Masters in Eduction.
If money was no object... It would be nice, that's for sure!  I think there's something to be said for working hard though so I wouldn't want us to be lazy and not work hard for what we want.

If I could meet one celebrity, it would be....As much as I love celebrity gossip, I really don't care to meet them.  I mean what would I really have to say to them?  I just like watching them on tv and reading about their drama in magazines :)

If I could shop at only one store the rest of my life...Target, of course.
If we were to get another pet it would be...We don't have pets and don't want any.

If I could go on a trip right now...This is a tough one because I'd LOVE to go on a vacation with Tyler, but I wouldn't want to leave Kyla.  Yes, I still have major separation anxiety.  I haven't spent a night away from her yet.  I know all new mom's go through it and get over it, but I'm not there yet.  I want to go back to Hawaii really bad though!

If I had to choose between a house cleaner and a personal chef...Personal chef for sure.  As much as I hate cleaning, I am a horrible cook!  Plus with a personal chef, I'm sure I'd eat healthier.  I don't want anyone else in my kitchen though so can he/she cook everything somewhere else and just bring it over?

If I had the option of plastic surgery...I'm good for now.  After a couple more kids though a little lift would be nice and maybe a tummy tuck :)
Thank you all so much for reading and keeping up with our little family!  Here's to many more milestones!  And remember, your comments make my day so keep them coming!

Oh, I almost forgot to share what I'm thankful for...

My husband, Tyler.  He is the best Daddy in the world.  He stayed home from work today because I had a migraine (go figure) and a nasty sore throat.  Thank you, Ty for being here for us today.  And every day.  And thank you for working so hard so that I can stay home with Kyla.  Love you!

  3. I loved reading your answers. You should email Nancy about migraines. Tim used to have terrible ones, and he takes a supplement, maybe feverfew? I don't remember. Anyway...what ever he was taking worked very well.

Sewing is easy, you can pick up a basic singer machine at walmart for less than $150 bucks. I bet I still have some 4-h sewing books around, they are great for beginners.
