Weekend recap

Even though the Brewers lost tonight and their season is over, I'm so happy to tell you about our awesome weekend!  Warning - picture overload.

Yesterday we had a great time at my cousin's wedding.  Kyla kept Daddy busy during the ceremony.

Don't worry, these were taken before the ceremony.  We weren't snapping pictures of each other during church :)

Remember Friday's post when I said I was going to enjoy a glass of wine?

It was amazing!  Well, I should say "they" were amazing :)

Gianna was enjoying Kyla's high chair.  And some puffs.  The girl was hungry!

Hanging out before dinner...

She LOVES Uncle!

Emma's turn in the high chair.  She needed a little help from Gianna to get out of it.  Silly girls!

I insisted on a family picture since we have none.  I thought maybe we could get a nice picture for a Christmas card since we were dressed up.  Yeah, not gonna happen.

I cannot get over the next picture.  Kyla was waving her rattle around and I snapped a picture and this is what I got.  So funny!

Today we were very productive!  I finally decided on a paint color for the main part of the basement so we went and bought that.  We also got a couple more pumpkins to go with Kyla's little one.

And then there's this silly guy that Grandma bought.  She got each of the girls one.  Kyla loves hers.  She mostly loves to eat it, but every time she sees it, she smiles.

Grandma also bought Momma some new boots!  How cute are these?

Someone needed her Mom at this particular moment.

What do you guys think?  Rolled down or all the way up?  Tyler's usually pretty good about fashion (he does watch Project Runway and all), but he didn't have any advice for me on this one...

We attempted a walk after dinner, but we got halfway around the block and realized it was too windy :(

Oh yeah, and guess what else we did?  PAINTED THE BASEMENT!  It's done.  Completely.  WOO HOO!!!

Tyler worked on it this afternoon while Kyla napped and I cleaned and then while we went to Target.  And then when we realized the Brewers weren't worth watching, we both got to work.  I can't believe we finished it.  I'm so excited!

I ended up going with Natural Wicker (I think that's the name of it).  You can see it here compared to the white primer.

Don't mind the big pile of crap in the middle of the room.  We're still trying to figure out where you can take dry wall scraps around here.  You wouldn't think it'd be that difficult, but apparently it is!

I wasn't sure about the color at first, but I like it now.

It's hard to tell with the bathroom because we only have that little portable light in there right now.  It's basically gray though.

Overall pretty awesome weekend, I'd say!  Kyla was a trooper at the wedding.  Her bedtime is 8:00 and we left the reception at 8:20.  We had a two hour drive home and she slept the entire way.  I gave her a bottle when we got home because she woke up, but then went right to sleep.  Unfortunately, I was up with her 4 times and Tyler once in the middle of the night.  We just had to give her the nuk and she was fine.  But I'm really hoping it was just the change in routine.  It's 12:30 am and no crying baby.  Yet.  I'm sure she'll wait until I have just fallen asleep.

Hope you all had a great weekend!
