My little pumpkin...

I don't have a whole lot to blog about today, but I got scolded by my mom because I didn't have a post for her to read before she went to bed.  Oops :)

We had a pretty non-eventful day.  I did get some things I ordered from Carter's, including Kyla's Halloween costume.  I ended up going with a pumpkin because, well I'm not creative and I always call her my little pumpkin.  And it was half off :)

I also got a few other things for 50% off so I only ended up paying a couple bucks each.  I couldn't resist.

We had mashed potatoes for dinner.  Well, chicken and corn too, but we only let Kyla try the potatoes.  After some hesitation, she ended up LOVING them!  I put a spoonful on her tray and gave her a spoon and let her go at it.  At first she wasn't sure so I fed her a little bite so she could see what it was.  Then, she didn't stop.  She did take a few bites with her spoon, but for the most part she just picked up globs with her fingers and shoved it in her mouth.  It was quite the mess, but messes don't really bother me.  She has to learn somehow!

She slept better last night so I'm thinking Saturday night was just because of the change of routine and getting home late from the wedding.

Tomorrow we are going to go spend my Michael's gift card that I got for my birthday!  Exciting stuff!

  1. Don't feel bad....we didn't take Raya to a pumpkin patch her first year either for the same reason! Brielle gets the benefit of going at a young age just b/c of big sister :-) We also just borrowed a halloween costume Raya's first year as well, b/c we thought she was too young to trick or treat officially. Kyla will be able to have so much more fun next Halloween though!!

    Love that snowman onesie!
