Home Sweet Home

We had a great time up in Hayward, but it feels so good to be home!  I have lots of pictures to share...

On our way up with Grandma and Grandpa

Our cabin

We LOVE Thirty-One (and this isn't even close to all our Thirty-One stuff)!

Ahh, what a great view!

Get me out of this thing!

Kyla's first boat ride

Grandpa and Gianna

Took about 2 minutes on the boat before Kyla was out

That doesn't look good!  We avoided the rain for awhile, but it poured as soon as we got to the dock.

Kyla and Auntie Amber

I love my nieces!

Working hard!

Hanging out

She had a good time sliding around on the wood floors.

Ready for some chow!

Testing out the new walker Grandma bought her

Coloring contest during breakfast (Grandpa won, no one knew he was such a good artist!)

Had to put up some privacy protectors so nobody cheated :)

Our sand castle

Going out on the paddle boat

You can't really tell in the pictures, but it was so windy and it was impossible to go against the waves.  We only made it around the dock, but it was fun (and a good leg workout) :)

What you didn't see here is the hilarious trip on the paddle boat with me, Tyler, Amber, Emma and Gianna.  There were four seats so we thought it would be fine if the five of us went out since the girls don't weigh much.  Well...it didn't take long before Amber and the girls were completely under water in the back.  The waves kept sending tons of water into the boat.  We could not stop laughing and we realized we had an audience as there were some other campers outside watching.  Unfortunately (or fortunately) nobody got pictures :)

Gianna, queen of the castle

My first pigtails!

Look at me Mommy!

 So stinking cute!

Taking a break on the moose while shopping in Hayward.

And Kyla chillin in the stroller.  What a rough life!

Trying out the wigs at Dave & Kay's house

Hahaha

We had such a good time!  And Kyla was an angel!  The ride up with my mom and Brian on Sunday, she was great.  She got a little fussy about 30 minutes from the cabin, but not crying, just really antsy to get out of the car.  Today on our way home, she did not fuss once!  She slept for almost the first three hours, we stopped for chow, she played in her carseat for awhile and then slept the rest of the way.  She's the best!  I don't think we'll be making any 5 1/2 hour car rides for awhile, but I am so happy with how awesome she was!

A BIG thank you to my mom and Brian for everything this week and for the family vacation!  We had a blast!
